Both my own experience in delivering psychotherapeutic work and the wealth of research available show that the online form is comparable with in-person therapy.
A 50-minute online therapy session designed to address a wide range of mental health concerns. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, bereavement, insomnia, anger management, relationship difficulties, loneliness, trauma, ADHD, masking, or self-esteem issues, I can provide a supportive and empathetic space to explore your challenges and develop effective coping strategies.
Many clients find it beneficial to commit to a block of six sessions to establish a consistent therapeutic relationship and make significant progress. However, the duration of therapy can vary depending on individual needs and goals.
Talk therapy offers numerous benefits, including improved emotional regulation, enhanced problem-solving skills, increased self-awareness, and strengthened coping mechanisms.
An extended 120-minute online therapy session offers a more in-depth therapeutic experience. This longer format allows for extended exploration of thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, as well as a more gradual transition into and out of the therapeutic space. While particularly beneficial for neurodivergent clients, this option is available to all clients and can be utilised as needed, following a consultation.
Many clients find that this extended format provides a more comprehensive and supportive therapeutic experience. It allows for a deeper level of exploration and processing, enabling individuals to gain valuable insights and develop effective coping strategies.

Usually, a therapy session is 50 minutes long. However, in my experience, some people benefit from a longer time to reflect. Getting from “I just got here” to “I am ready to talk about something important can take time”. Similarly, allowing for the extra time for decompressing before it is time to levee, can be beneficial. That’s why I also offer custom sessions. My proposed time is 1 hour 20 minutes, with a short break in the middle as needed. However, I am open to tailoring the duration of the session to your needs.
As every case is different, there is no one answer. I recommend starting with 6 sessions and reviewing the progress regularly.
